Having great engagement rates on your website is critical to performing well when it comes to search engine rankings. Although click through rates can be an important factor, it is important to note that it doesn’t matter how many people are clicking on your site if they are not staying there and finding useful information. Some key pieces of information to be taking note of in your SEO process is bounce rates & time spent on site. These will let you know if people are finding your site a valuable place to be & coincidentally, so will Google.
Now Google doesn’t just look into these data entries, but converts it into something called “dwell time” which allows the search engine to see how much time people are browsing your site before going back to the SERPs. This is what you want to be aware of… getting people to your site & staying!
